Chairman of Dangote Foundation, Aliko Dangote and Bill Gates are among the dignitaries attending the National Economic Council (NEC) currently underway at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, with Vice President Kashim Shettima presiding.
Also present at the meeting are governors including Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa State), Duoye Diri (Bayelsa), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Lawan Dauda (Zamfara State), among others.
Also in the closed door meeting are deputy governors representing their principals, some Ministers as well as some state commissioners.
The meeting is expected to review the nation’s economic policy and the recent fuel price increase among other issues.
