Kaduna: NDLEA establishes new command to curtain drugs abuses

The National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has established a command in the Kakuri Area of Kaduna South Local Government Area to contain proliferation of drug abuse in the entire Local Government Area.
The newly posted Area Commander to the Local Government Mallam Ahmed Ibrahim stated this at an election sensitization campaign organized by Kakuri Development Association in Kaduna.
Mallam Ahmed Ibrahim said the command had identified black spots and will comb all the areas to apprehend perpetrators and ensure no drugs are abused before, during and after the elections.
In a speech, representative of Interfaith Meditation Center at the event, Mr. Samsin Auta called on voters to shun violence and vote for credible leaders that will better their lives.
According to Mr. Auta the Interfaith Meditation Center has embarked on community sensitization campaigns on all issues of development especially on the voter education.
