
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Muhammad Bello, Dan Yusufan Katsina and the District Head of Bindawa District, who passed away last night.
The governor described the death of the respected traditional leader as a painful loss to the people of Bindawa, Katsina Emirate and the state as a whole.
“He was a respected traditional leader who served his people with commitment, integrity, and compassion. His wise counsel and leadership will be greatly missed by the people of Bindawa, the Katsina Emirate, and the entire Katsina State,” the governor stated.
Radda noted that throughout his years of service as District Head of Bindawa, the late Alhaji Muhammad Bello played important roles in strengthening communal unity, peace, and development of the district.
He also reflected on the significance of his passing within the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan.
“His passing during the holy month of Ramadan, especially in the last ten days, reminds us of the mercy and wisdom of Almighty Allah.”
Radda, on behalf of the government and the people of Katsina State, extended condolences to the deceased family, the people of Bindawa District, Katsina Emirate Council, and the entire traditional institution in the state.
He prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant his family the strength and patience to bear this great loss.
