KDSG signs MoU to provide Civil Servants with solar energy

The Kaduna State Government has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Basscomm Nigeria Limited and Eneriv Power Limited to provide solar power to civil servants in the state as a clean and affordable alternative source of electricity.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Uba Sani, Muhammad Lawal Shehu and made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that the Commissioner of Finance, Shizzer Nasara Bada, who represented, Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State at the signing stated that the initiative was in line with Governor Sani’s pro-people style of governance and commitment to seeking climate-friendly sources of energy in the face of environmental challenges.
“In the SDG Goals, the provision of clean energy is a key factor for development. The Solar for All Programme is a brilliant initiative by the Kaduna Power Supply Company to make life easier for our dedicated civil servants. We hope that we can expand this initiative to other residents as well, as it is all about access to affordable energy. ”
