The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Yahaya Aliyu Sheda, has commended the FCT minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike for ongoing accelerated developmental projects in Kwali as well as other Area Councils in the Territory.
Sheda gave the commendation in an interview with newsmen on the occasion of get-together with friends, political associates and youths after the Eid-el-fitr celebration in Kwali.
He noted that people in Kwali, in particular have witnessed 90% of development in the area of ongoing roads construction in Kwali by the FCT Minister.
He also expressed optimism that the minister was playing a role that is critical to rapid growth of the FCT, adding that he deserves a huge praise for focusing on the development of the Area Councils.
Sheda equally called on the people in the area to always embrace peace, saying that no community or country could develop in the atmosphere of rancor and acrimony.
He, therefore, advised every Nigerian to at all times deem it fit to contribute his or her quota towards the progress of the community or nation, and urged the youth to desist from drug abuse.
According to him, the youth should be responsible for their actions, so that they will become the leaders of the country tomorrow.
