From Mika’il Tsoho, Dutse

The leader of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Jigawa State Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim and its Gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 general election said the members of the party are waiting for any directives from the National leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Mr. Ringim stated this in an interview with newsmen, while reacting to ongoing  political speculation about the party’s next political move ahead of the 2027 general election.

His report comes amidst reports that the NNPP is planning a possible merger with one of the major political parties, PDP or APC.

He urged party’s loyalists to disregard such  rumours and remain focus ahead of the 2027 general elections.
