The members of Redeem Men Fellowship in Jigawa state has donated food items and other materials worth thousands of naira to orphans in Jigawa.
The donations was presented to the deputy director child development unit, ministry of women affairs and social development, Hajiya Fausat I. Muhammad when the members of the fellowship paid a visit to the orphanage home in Dutse on Friday.
The President of Redeem Men Fellowship in Jigawa, Mr Segun Olawunmi Isiah said, the visit is part of their Cooperate Social Responsibilities (CSR) to put smile on the faces of less previledge people in the state.
According to him, their members meet together and agreed to contribute as well as to visit motherless and orphanage homes in Dutse Jigawa.
At the event which took place in Port Harcourt, with Ogoni stakeholders across various strata in attendance, Professor Zabbey said the Mid-term scorecard presentation offered an opportunity to present ‘tangible evidence of progress in the Ogoni Clean-up effort, reinforce accountability, deepen transparency, and most importantly enable HYPREP to interact directly with the communities and stakeholders who are the heartbeat of this project’
He highlighted the significant progress HYPREP has made across its thematic areas.
