The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has called on the FCT APC women leadership to mobilise women across the nation’s capital for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the success of all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Mahmoud made the call when she received the FCT APC Woman Leader and members of her executive committee on a courtesy visit in her office.

She assured them that her office was ready to work with the party’s women leadership to ensure that every woman, irrespective of political affiliation, is carried along in the collective effort to strengthen the party.

Mahmoud also called for reconciliation with party members who feel alienated or abandoned, announcing the need for a conciliation mechanism to bring all aggrieved members back into the fold.

She urged APC women leaders at all levels to deploy their experience and grassroots networks towards building a stronger and more united party ahead of 2027.
