Following a land dispute at Mechanic village in Gombe state, Emir General Integrated Limited has allegedly  taken Grandscope Construction Limited before the Gombe state High Court, seeking redress over alleged encroachment.

Counsel of the applicant, Barr. Sulaiman Abdurrahim in an interview shortly after court presiding, told Journalists that the case was involved a land disputes and encroachment in the area that  triggered Emir General Integrated Limited to head to the court  to seek for redress against Grandscope Construction Limited for unauthorized trespass of it’s property.

He further revealed that there is court order that restrained the defendant not to erect any structure or commence construction work on the property pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice.

In a swift reaction, Counsel of the defendant, Barr. Garba Bin Ali Subi acknowledge their appearance which he said following the adjournment, it would take provide them with opportunity to study the case.

It could be recalled that the court earlier restrained  Grandscope Construction Limited from further entering  or commencing constructions on the property belonging to Emir General Integrated Limited pending and determination of motion on notice.

The presiding Judge, Justice Fatima Musa adjourn the case till 17th February, 2025 for hearing.
