The Miss Face of Humanity (MFOH) Nigeria, on Wednesday highlighted the organization’s commitment to creating an inclusive platform for dialogue and fostering impactful partnerships to address the challenges faced by vulnerable communities.

MFOH National Director, Blessing Inyang, stated this during her opening remarks at a one-day stakeholders’ dialogue on the rights of indigents in Abuja, described the forum as a critical step toward sustainable development.

The event was themed “Empowering Indigents: Building Sustainable Solutions.”

“We are not just here to crown beauty queens; we are here to cultivate leaders, advocates, and changemakers,” Inyang said.

“This forum is about engaging with key stakeholders, sharing insights, and exploring collaborative efforts to address the rights of indigents.”

She emphasized the need for multi-sector collaboration to amplify MFOH Nigeria’s impact.

“It is through collaboration with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, private sector partners, and the diplomatic community that we can achieve our vision,” Inyang said.

Inyang also celebrated MFOH Nigeria’s recognition as the “Pageant Organisation of the Year” at the 2023 Pageant Analysts Annual Awards.

She called the accolade a testament to the dedication of her team and the organization’s mission to champion changemakers in Nigeria.

The director highlighted notable achievements over the past year, including the accomplishments of the reigning MFOH Nigeria Queen, Ambassador Rita Chika Ezenwa.

Ezenwa was named “Beauty Queen of the Year” at the 2023 Golden Stars Awards and “Humanitarian Queen of the Year” at the 2024 Nigeria Women Achievers Awards. Her international recognition included reaching the top seven at the Miss Face of Humanity International Showcase in Mexico.

“These accolades are not just titles but affirmations of the work we are doing to uplift humanity and advocate for change,” Inyang said.

The dialogue was attended by representatives from the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons; the FCT Department on Higher Education; the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights; and the House Committee on Human Rights.
