The Federal Government has urged Nigerians to continue to commit to the promotion of unity in diversity for the common good of the country.
The Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, gave the advice in Abuja as Nigeria joins other 53 Commonwealth Nations to celebration the 2021 Commonwealth Day.
The theme of the event was “Delivering a Commonwealth Future: Connecting, Innovating and Transforming”.
Adamu was represented by the Minister of State for Education, Mr Chukuemeka Nwajiuba.
Adamu said the celebration should be a wake up call to spur the commonwealth nations to a strong commitment to the charters visions which entailed positive change for the benefit of all.
The event has its theme: “Delivering a Commonwealth Future: Connecting, Innovating and Transfarming”
According to him, one of the beautiful things about commonwealth of nations is the efforts made to give all nations a sense of belonging.
