The National Kakanda Development Association (NKADA) has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for nominating its illustrious daughter, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, for the position of a Minister of Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Kogi State in Federal Executive Council.
This was contained in a statement issued yesterday by the Association’s President, Alhaji Ismaila Ayuba Abdullahi, who appreciated President Buhari and assured that the candidate is a hard working woman member of NKADA, saying she will do the country proud in her new appointment.
He stated that her appointment is well deserved as she has consistently been a progressive grassroots politician, which justifies her appointment and honor by Mr President.
Ismaila solicited for support for her success while urging her to carry along her people through employment, empowerment and job creation for the betterment of the citizenry.
He therefore congratulated her for the worthy appointment, adding that the selection of Ramatu was a demonstration of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and President Buhari’s plans to empower women in Nigeria.
Alhaji Ismaila also described the appointee as a detribalized Nigerian, hardworking individual and result oriented, who is always committed to the development of the society.
He noted that Kogi State and Kakanda nation is lucky to have her as their own at the federal executive council level of governance.
Ismaila requested that as a tested President of African Political Association, she is capable of handling complex and huge responsibilities.
