National Hydro-Electric Power Producing Areas Commission N-HYPPADEC has concluded plans to conduct a community mapping and new assessment of 6,246 communities within its areas of coverage.
The Managing Director, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa made this known at the training of officers for the 2024 Needs Assessment exercise.
Yelwa explained that the training will provide the commission with the reliable roadmap for intervention in allignment with the needs of the communities.
Represented by the director finance and administration, Jimoh Gabbi said the activities will cover the 10 states of the commission to include; Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Kebbi, Niger, Plateau, Kaduna, Gombe and Nassarawa states.
