The National President, Nigeria Association of Small and Medium Enterprises ( NASME), Dr. Abdulrashid Yarima has appealed to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to expedite action for the release of more grants and funds to be accessed by Nigerians across the 774 local Government councils
He however acknowledged the effort of the President in empowering women, youth, widows and other entrepreneurs through the Federal Ministry of Industry,Trade and Investment to access grants to expand their businesses.
The NASME President made this point in a statement signed by the association National Publicity Secretary Hon. Gaddafi Asemanya made available to Weekend Peoples Daily in Makurdi, passionately.
He also asked for more skills acquisitions for Women,youths & other categories of entrepreneurs to access loans facilities to improve their businesses in the country as a way of reducing unemployment and hardship.
He equally appealed to NASME members across the country to remain patient as more opportunities are in the pipeline to empower them.
The statement read in part: “Dr. Yarima appreciates the Minister of Industry,Trade and Investment Dr Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite for her dynamic leadership qualities and tireless efforts in ensuring that Nigerians feel the impacts of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu government.
“He also, congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Benue State Governor Rev Fr Hyacinth Iormem Alia for the commissioning of Benue Fashion and ICT Hub by the Vice President of federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, who was represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia.”
