From Umar Dankano, Yola.

The Sole administrator of Birnin Magaji local government Area in Zamfara state, Hon. Kabiru Ladan Jarma has urged the membership of the House of Representatives to vote for Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji as the speaker of the tenth Assembly.
Jarma, who made his position known in an interactive session with journalists, explained that voting for Hon. Jaji will create a conducive atmosphere for the legislative and executive arms of government to function effectively due to his wealth of experience as well as his leadership capacity for good governance.
He noted that the country needs more productive, versatile and result getters to take leadership responsibilities with a view to face the global speeding competitive and developmental drive in the scheme of things.
According to him, with the change of national executive leadership hierarchy to the south East, it is not only fair but balance for the speakership seat to be zoned to North West so that there would be political equality in the country.
He opined that Nigeria and Nigerians will appreciate the contributions of Jaji if given the opportunity to serve as the speaker of the 10th National Assembly citing his political stewardship to his constituency in Zamfara state where meaningful projects were executed to the constituents equitably for all to see.
“People need to go down to Birnin Magaji/ Kaura Namoda federal constituency to verify my claim over the positive contributions in developing his people in area of health care, education, employment opportunities to jobless youth as well as assisting the less privileged at times of need.
“I’m canvassing for support to the candidacy of Hon. Aminu Jaji for a better Nigeria and therefore calling on the National Working Committee of the APC to zone the speakership slot to the North West”, Jarma declared.
Jarma however, admonished federal House of Representatives delegates not to miss the golden chance of electing good, enterprising and promising young legislator for job in the interest of promoting harmonious working relationship between the executives and the legislature.
