Newgate University Minna said all is set to graduate 207 graduating students coming out with 14 first class degrees.
It said the students will enjoy automatic employment in the school’s maiden convocation ceremony scheduled for 3rd December, 2025.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Sadiq Yusuf made this known during the pre- convocation press briefing at the institution’s hall in Minna, saying that 81 with second class upper and 88 second class lower as well 24 with third class honours.
He noted that the total consisted of 107 females and 105 males across four faculties recognized by the NUC, adding that the 207 graduating students out of the 350 first enrollment has grown to about two thousand.
Yusuf emphasized that ten out of thirteen are fully accredited by the National University Commission (NUC) while nursing and medical laboratory science programmes have their professional accreditation, hence 79% passed their recent Nursing Council Examinations.
He stressed that part of the school milestones includes; development of modern classrooms, laboratories, ICT driven learning system, expansion of community outreach and institutional partnership while running 13 academic across programmes.
