Niger APC sets to receive defectors at mega rally

The Niger State chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC) have concluded arrangements to receive the opposition defectors including the state PDP Deputy Chairman Alhaji Aminu Yussuf in a slated mega rally on Friday 17th February, 2018.
This was contained in a press release issued yesterday in Minna by the State Secretary of APC, Barrister Mohammed Alhaji Liman who said that the party will also received the House of Assembly member representing Suleja, Hon. Shuaibu Iya Liman who had dumped the PDP for the ruling APC.
The statement further said that the National Chairman of APC, Chief John Oyegun and six State Governor’s of the party were expected to witness the event that will be hold at the Trade Fair Complex, Minna.
It noted that the occasion would “further show that the party is widely accepted and fully grounded in Niger State”.
The statement added that some of the decampees includes some local government and ward Chairmen of PDP as well as former local government council chairmen and councilors.
He therefore urged all the party faithfuls enjoined to mobilize for the event to give their support to the state Governor Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello who is the chief host and event to be hosted by the State Party Chairman, Engr Mohammed Jibril Imam.
He assured that the present administration will continued to serve the interest of the people and bring positive change in all facets and sectors in the state.
