Niger state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the

Industrial Training Fund (ITF) through the office of the Head of Service to train civil servants on capacity building.

The Director General/Chief Executive Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Joseph Ari, stated this during the signing in Minna.

He said the MoU was as a result of mutual agreement between the state and ITF to build capacity of all civil servants in the state.

Represented by Area Manager of ITF in Niger, Gyang Davou, said the partnership was geared towards improving the capacity of civil servants as key drivers of the image and structure of government operations.

In her remarks, the Niger state Head of Service, Hajiya Salamatu Abubakar, commended ITF for the partnership with the state government to develop capacity of the entire civil servants.

She assured that they would ensure the sustainability of the partnership to build capacity of all cadres of civil servants to compete with the world.
