The eight local government areas chairmen of Niger North Senatorial District (Zone C) have endorsed the candidatures of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umar Bago for 2027 general elections.
The Chairmen led by that of the Mashegu local government, Alhaji Umar Jibrin Igade made this known while briefing newsmen after their meeting together with their vice chairmen in Minna.
He said that the endorsement was not induced but the decision was whole heartedly with the approval of their grassroot stakeholders consisting of youths, women, and elders.
According to Umar Igade, governor Mohammed Umar Bago deserves the commendation of Nigerlites for the massive infrastructural development experienced especially the tremendous facelift of Minna city in all spheres of endeavors.
