The state Commandant NSCDC Niger State Command, Adamu Abdullahi Kambra has expressed commitment to promoting peace and security within the territories of the nation.
The Commandant who spoke through the Command’s Public Relations officer DSC Abubakar Rabiu Muti in a press statement to mark this year’s
International Day of Peace with the theme, “Cultivating a Culture of Peace,” in Minna.
According to Abdullahi Kambra, in a world plagued by conflict, inequality, and discrimination, it is imperative that we strive to build a culture of peace that transcends borders, ethnicities, and ideologies.
He stated that peace is not merely the absence of conflict but a dynamic, participatory process that encourages dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation that resonates deeply with the organization’s values and mission.
He appreciated the Commandant General, Doctor Ahmed Abubakar Audi for his unwavering support and guidance in driving the Corps forward, saying that his leadership has been instrumental in promoting peace and security across the nation.
Similarly, the command also thanked Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umar Bago, for his continuous support to the NSCDC in Niger State and his valuable collaborative efforts with security agencies in tackling security challenges across the state.
