Niger political appointees bemoan non-payment of March salary

Some political appointees in Niger State have lamented over the alleged non-payment of their March salary by the state government.
It was gathered that the affected appointees includes; coordinators, senior special assistants, and special assistants respectively.
Some of the appointees, who spoke to our reporter under the condition of anonymity expressed dismay considering the ongoing Ramadan fast, the state government remain adamant in paying their salaries…
However, the affected appointees appealed to governor Abubakar Sani Bello through his magnanimity direct the ministry of finance to immediately effect their payment to cushion the hardship been experienced.
It could be recalled that the state civil servants also received their March salaries late which according to reports was due to shortfalls and court case instituted against the Niger state government by some contractors, resulting to garnishing of one of government account.
