Nigerian youths from all walks of life had extoled Korea Cultural Centre Nigeria for organizing K-POP Reloaded (The Stars’ Edition) in Abuja at the weekend.
Speaking to Peoples Daily during the event, leader of X-Mob group, Raphael Chinemerem who was full of praises for KCCN for organizing the event said the K-POP was really taking root in Nigeria.
He noted that the 5-Man-Dancing crew were young individuals united by passion for love of Korean Culture and had been greatly exposed by KCCN through event participation and performance.
The winner of 2024 Korea World Festival Competition held in Korea said they were happy given the fact they were performing as winners and not competitor.
He thanked KCCN for giving them the opportunity to key into the Korean Culture and showcase their talents.
Also speaking after their performance, leader of Limitless Supreme 6, Bazigha Bryan Tanwey said the group came to celebrate the union of Nigeria and Korea which had been deepened by KCCN through promotion of Korean Culture.
Continuing, he informed that the event had given them the ample opportunity to show love and unity, bring out some enthusiasm, saying that he feels very great and fulfilled being of part of the K-POP family.
He appreciated the KCCN for putting the event together which had given Nigerian youth the opportunity to showcase their talent, bonding together, show love and share ideas as well through Korea culture promotion.
Leader of Tryumphant X, Blackson Ugele who said it was their first-time performance as a team described the event as mind blowing, stating the team was pleased and happy to be part of the K-POP concert.
He thanked KCCN for providing them with the platform to showcase their talent to the audience.
A Solo Singer, Victor Joseph thanked KCCN for making it possible for Nigerians who were Korean Culture enthusiasts to prove themselves before the wide audience.
Adekoya Bolanle, Leader of B-Stars, an all-lady group said KCCN had made her to love anything Korea based on the way they were promoting Korea culture.
Director of Korea Cultural Centre, Nigeria, Mr. Kim Chang Ki said that the fact that Nigerian group won the festival in Korea with many competitors around the world shows how they have accepted Korean Culture.
Cultural, Events & Communications Officer of KCCN, Jennifer Ezeonyeasi said the whole idea of hosting the event was to create a kind of bonding among K-POP dancers, admirers and lovers.
However, Dance & Music Performances were done by X-Mob, Limitless Supreme 6, Olonade Joseph, Joy Ossai, Tryumphant X, Joy Malik, while Audience Dance Challenge was done Dance Your Style.
Another, Dance & Music Performances saw Team Switch, MacWhitney Myles, B-Stars, Femmeforce, Victory Mbagwu thrill the audience.
It was a great event which left many people asking when the next one will hold.
