The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Bauchi State has declared that there is no plan to substitute Muhammed Awwal Jatau, the Bauchi PDP gubernatorial candidate with somebody else.
The state Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Bashir Bukar Riminzayyan made the disclosure yesterday in Bauchi.
He said Jatau contested and won the ticket of the party after the completion of the primary election among aspirants since the almighty Allah, who gives power to everyone, gave him the ticket the party has no plan to replace him with anybody.
On the aggrieved aspirants, Riminzayyan said the party and other stakeholders are working hard to reconcile with them and that already many of them like Senator Adamu Gumba, Bappah Azare, and Babayo Gamawa were attending the party’s meetings.
“We had already reached out to the former Minister of Health Dr Ali Pate and we will continue with our reconciliation efforts to work together for the success of the party” he said.
Bashir however lamented over the dilapidated structure of the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos were PDP governorship aspirants met and collected the party’s flags, appealing to the Federal Government to rehabilitate the place as a remembrance to our fallen heroes such as the late Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and Sir Ahmadu Bello.
