NOA sensitizes Nigerians on tax reform, security, HIV others

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) commenced a nationwide sensitization campaign on five critical issues that are central to the nation’s well-being, Unity and development.
The five critical issues that include fight against HIV/AIDS, security, shunning the get-rich-quick syndrome, human rights, and tax reform highlighted during the press conference organised by NOA at federal secretariat Dutse.
Speaking during the conference, the Director General NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu who was represented by the Director legal services Mr Williams Dogo the campaign aimed at mobilizing Nigerians to unite in the commitment to address these five pressing issues and fostering a more informed, secured and ethical society.
He explained that the Nigeria’s challenges, require collective action and active participation from everyone said, NOA join the Global Community to celebrate world HIV/AIDS day by rising awareness and intensifying government’s efforta to provide free and accessible HIV testing and counseling services nationwide, ensuring anti retroviral treatment is available to people living with HIV/ AIDS as well as partnering with local and international organizations to combat stigma and discrimination.
