The Ganaja road which is a gate way to the Eastern part of Nigeria, has remained in a dilapidated condition for a long time.

The governor’s chief press secretary, Onogwu Mohammed in a recent interview with journalists in Lokoja, Kogi State, the seat of government, opined that the portion of the road is for the federal government.

Motorists who spoke on condition of anonymity described the route as a nightmare as they now become regular visitors to mechanic workshops.

It would be recalled that the road was recently awarded by the federal government to some faceless contractors who however abandoned site before the end of last year.
