Mr. Owumi explained that the essence of the seminar is to sensitize the media officers on their role in turn around the trajectory of our football.
Owumi said,”we have kept this aspect for too long. We need to start a new journey in our professional football in changing the narrative and turning trajectory around. The driving force is to move our football forward. There must be concerted effort to make our brand work.
“As media officers, you’re a ware house for your clubs, you ought to market the stars you have. You have the key to ublock potentials. The NPFL board will in the coming season, institute an award for the best media officer in the league.
“You must know the frame work of the league because most club chairmen do not have the time to read the rules. Always read rules and educate your manager or club chairmen”.
