The leadership of the International Association of Research Scholars and Administrators (IARSA) incorporated in the United States, Ghana and Nigeria and the Amazon of the co-operatives system in Nigeria, Prof. Amb. Queen Victoria Abike Hajarat Adesuyi Adeyeye, has established IARSA Queen Agro-allied University of Technology in Afin-Akoko, Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Prof. (Emeritus) Adeyeye, who made this known while speaking to newsmen in Abuja, noted that the University is being established to enable the less privileged ones and farmers to have access to education.
She revealed that the President General of IARSA, Prof. Ogunsakin Akin Bosede was appointed to be the Pro-Chancellor of the University.
She also disclosed that the President General of the National Agro-allied Commodities Cooperatives of Nigeria (NACCON), Her Royal Majesty Prof. Adeyeye, who is also the Yeye Oba of Afin Kingdom was appointed as the Chancellor of the University.
Professor (Emeritus) of English language and Curriculum Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife said the plans are in top gear to appoint the Vice Chancellor of the University, pointing out that already the University was registered with the National Universities Commission (NUC).
