Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El Rufai said is vision for the state is that which will guarantee security, freedom and opportunities for all residents of kaduna state.
He made the assertion during a consultation Forum to promote social cohesion in the aftermath of the General elections in Nigeria held in kaduna yesterday.
The Governor said his commitment to that vision is unwavering because his burning drive to fulfill his mandate will be the pointer to his tireless quest for peace and stability of the state.
El Rufai who was represented by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruwam expressed dismay that in recent times, factors of ethnicity and religion have bled strongly into the Nation political consciousness with unfortunate consequences.
He added that too many have suffered as a result, thousand have been widowed, orphaned, displaced and disenfranchised on back of misplaced electoral disaffection.

“It is the quest for peace and stability which has guided numerous judicial reforms, because we know that rule of law will guarantee a stable environment.
“Above all the commitment to peace gives rise to the establishment the Kaduna State Peace Commission in 2017 to ensure the monitoring mitigation and prevention of conflicts, and the promotion of peaceful coexistence in the state”.
