As part of efforts to kickstart the implementation of the Solutions for Internally Displaced Persons and Host Communities (SOLID) Project, the newly constituted Yobe State SOLID project team, led by State Project Coordinator Suleiman Dauda, held its maiden meeting on Monday, in Damaturu, the state capital.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Communication Officer of the SOLID Project, Malam Ali Musa Yawale said the meeting’s priority, focused on the significant responsibilities ahead of the team and deliberated on the strategic actions required to ensure the project’s success.
He said, the State Project Coordinator, Suleiman Dauda, welcomed and congratulated the team members on their well-deserved appointments.
The Coordinator emphasized the importance of teamwork, dedication, and a results-driven approach to ensure the successful implementation of the project’s various components.
During the meeting, Suleiman Dauda highlighted that the SOLID Project is designed to improve access to basic services and economic opportunities for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities, and contribute to the overall development of the state.
