The Kano Pillars FC will play Sharks of Port Harcourt tomorrow at Kano in the rescheduled Week 12 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matches.

The Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of the League Management Company (LMC), Salihu Abubakar, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Abubakar said the team’s return to Kano is in accordance with the rules guiding the NPFL christened Globacom Premier League.

Pillars will be returning to Kano after they served a three-match home ban imposed on them by the LMC for crowd violence.

Abubakar said the team played its three home games against Nasarawa United, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and Enyimba International FC, Aba, in Kaduna following the ban.

“Pillars were banned for three matches and having served the ban, they will return to their home ground for their remaining matches.

Pillars are third on the Globacom Premier League log with 25 points from 16 matches.

Other rescheduled midweek matches include the match between El-Kanemi Warriors and Kaduna United as well as the encounter between Sunshine Stars FC of Akure and Heartland of Owerri.
