Plan International, an international non governmental organization has distributed food and non food items including cash to over 1, 550 households and individuals displaced in Sankera axis of Benue State.
The event was held at the Katsina-Ala local government secretariat on Thursday. Amongst items distributed include; kettle, blanket, pots, soap, jerry can and mats.
Project Manager, Plan International Maiduguri Office Lilian Sunday said 400 young ladies and women benefited from the dignity kits, 600 persons received non food items and 550 persons benefited from cash transfer of 75,000 naira.
She said the organization in collaboration with Start Fund who are their funding partner and Actionaid are intervening to support those who have been displaced as a result of crisis.
