Police arrest notorious cattle rustler in Katsina

The Police in Katsina state has arrested a notorious cattle rustler, armed robber and kidnapping kingpin.
The suspect, one Ibrahim Muwange 35 years of age of Duffur Mato Malamai village in Danmusa LGA was arrested at Dayi in Malumfashi Local Government area of Katsina state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Gambo Isah SP in a statement made available to newsmen at the weekend, said the suspect who had been on the wanted list of the command, met his Waterloo after a tip off.
According to him, the Suspect has been on the wanted list of the Command in connection with various cases of Cattle rustling, kidnapping, culpable homicide and armed robbery terrorizing Danmusa, Malumfashi, Safana and Batsari LGAs of Katsina state.
“In the course of investigation one AK 47 rifle No- NH 9634 was recovered in his possession”.
The statement added that, the Suspected has already confessed to his crimes.
It further stated that, the command after thorough Investigations, the culprit would be prosecuted to face the wrath of the law.
He, however, appealed to the public to assist the command with necessary information to enable it rid the society of these miscreants.
