Niger State Police Command said its operatives arrested five suspects for thuggery including a notorious gangster in the State.
The Command in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, said the miscreants during a fight stabbed one Mutar Bashir to death.
He said the command’s tactical team arrested some youths who were on a reprisal attack around stadium junction.
Meanwhile, Niger State Commissioner of Police, Monday Bala Kuryas, has called on members of the public not to panic and go about their lawful businesses.
