A 20 years old girl name withheld has been kidnapped in Jega Local Government area of Kebbi State.
A family source who told newsmen men in Birnin Kebbi said that she was kidnapped on Saturday morning while the kidnappers were demanding about ten million naira from the family.
Our correspondent gathered that a similar case happened at Bayankara bypass where a married woman was kidnapped and the family paid 5million naira to released her.
“The woman that was kidnapped, the husband is a junior brother to katanga a popular rich man in the area,” he added.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command denied the allegations, saying that the information is not true as the Command was not aware of the issue.
