The Adamawa state police command has paraded 58 suspected criminals for allegedly committing various criminal offences in the state.
Parading the suspects before the media as a first activity under his stewardship in the last four-weeks, Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Morris Dankombo said part of his mandate is to ensure the protection and safety of all citizens.
CP Dankombo at a press conference held in Yola Tuesday stressed that since his coming, the police has given criminals a bloody nose which resulted in the arrests made so far.
Dankombo announced that his officers and men have introduced new advanced crime tracking strategies that will continue making life hot and difficult for criminals unless they repent for good.
He stated that, no fewer than 58 suspected shilla boys, kidnappers and armed robbers were arrested during the period under review.
“When I took over the affairs of the command on the 14th February, 2024, I made a promise to the good people of this state that I will fight crime and criminality to the barest minimum to ensure that the remnants of criminal elements are flushed out of the state.
“During the period, 40 shilla boys, 11 kidnappers, and 7 armed robbery suspects were arrested.”
