Niger State Commissioner of Police, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman has presented cheques amounting to a sum of N31,229,657.95 to some next of kins and families of deceased personnel.
This was contained in a statement issued by the command PPRO, SP Wasiu Abiodun in Minna.
He said this is under the Group Life Assurance, Group Personal Accident and IGP Family Welfare Schemes of the Force.
Danmamman during the presentation asserted that the cheques are being presented to the families on behalf of the Insoector General of Police as an appreciation, to show that no matter what happens, the Police would not leave the families behind.
