Thousands beneficiaries of Ramadan Palliatives in Jigawa state, have commended governor Malam Umar Namadi for the timely distribution of food items to serve as Ramadan Palliatives.
The commendation was made by some of the beneficiaries shortly after receiving their palliatives at distribution points across 287 political wards in the state.
Speaking to our reporter, Malam Umar Salisu of Sara town area Gwaram local government, described the gesture as “situation saver” as according to him, it saves him from the threat of hunger in the month of Ramadan.
“I don’t know how to express my happiness for this palliatives, because we have already exhausted our food items and no more money to buy. So on behalf of my entire family, we thank the governor.”
