Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has described the reelection of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State as a true reflection of the wishes of the Edo people and not machinations of some individuals and self-made gods.
The Governor stated this yesterday while congratulating his Edo counterpart on his victory at the just concluded Edo governorship election.
Governor Ortom lauded the dogged determination of Governor Obaseki to overcome intimidation and uphold the mandate his people popularly gave him.
The Governor equally, hailed the people of Edo State, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike who was the Chairman of PDP Campaign Team for the 2020 Edo Governorship Election for great feat.
He also said the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC deserved plaudits for the credible conduct of the polls, noting that they refused to yield to pressure to thwart the will of the people
Governor Ortom prayed God to continue to guide his Edo State counterpart to enable him serve his people better in his second term.
