The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has called on the federal government to justify its innocents by releasing the audit report of the oil subsidy scam

Ambode also decried the reduction in petroleum price announced by the Federal Government, saying it is belated and could not address the economic challenges of the nation.

Ambode speaking at a his senatorial campaign rally held at Oworoshonki playing ground unveiled several plans to take the state to the next level, challenged the Federal Government to release the outcome of the audit of the oil subsidy scam and account for the missing 20million dollars from petroleum subsidy fund, adding that this forms the reason why the PDP must be voted out of power in the general election.

“They said they have reduced the pump price of petrol, what is N10 to you, is that what you want? Let us ask them what about the 20milion dollars missing oil money, what about the oil subsidy scam, they should release the result of the audit of the oil subsidy scam. With that, we would be able to use the money to construct roads, build hospital and make lives more comfortable for you”, Ambode said.
