Prominent professionals and business leaders from Nigeria and across the West Africa sub-region are set to converge on Lagos this month for the Strategic Leadership Summit organized by Leadtimes Africa Magazine.
According to the Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa Magazine and Convener of the Summit, Professor Buba S. Mshelia, the event will feature the decoration of outstanding leaders across public and private sectors.
“The participants will cut across Nigeria and the West African sub-region. They will be honored with induction into the Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arts Professionals (FCIAP), induction into the Leadtimes Africa Hall of Fame, conferment of the prestigious Leadtimes Africa Global Leadership Excellence Award, and honorary doctorate awards by Prowess University, Delaware, USA,” Mshelia stated. “All awardees were selected strictly on merit and track record in their professional callings.”
Listed for the honorary doctorate by Prowess University include Mr. Olatokunbo Joseph Talabi, Secretary to the State Government, Ogun State; Princess Layo Bakare-Okeowo, MD/CEO, FAE Limited; Mrs. Chinyere Okorocha, Head, Health and Pharmaceutical Sectors, Jackson, Etti and Edu; Chef Tolu Erogbogbo, CEO, Chef Eros and Co.; Mr. Uzoma Nwagba, CEO, CREDICORP; ESV. To be inducted as Fellows of FCIAP and conferred with the Leadtimes Africa Global Leadership Excellence Award and Hall of Fame induction are Ms. Aisha Rimi, Executive Secretary/CEO, NIPC; Engr. The Ag. MD/CEO of Delta Trust Mortgage Bank Ltd, Olorogun Dr. Joshua Oghenejiru Muhwhen, is expected to deliver the keynote lecture titled “Tackling the Challenges of Illegal Migration Through Good Governance in Leadership: Pathway to Sustainable Peace and Development in Africa.” Expected guests include Professor Prince Eze C. Nwauba, Director, IAMPS Nigeria and Representative of Prowess University; Engr. Dr. Sadiq Mustapha, GMD/CEO, Trade and Tech Group; Adeoye Babatunde, SAN; and Dr. Ifeanyi Madu, CEO, Enamel Orthopedic/Global Resources Ltd.
Past recipients of Leadtimes Africa honors include Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd), Chairman NDLEA; Chief Dr. Veronica Ndanusa; Dr. Morenike George-Taylor; and Engr.
