RTEAN Judgment: There is no notice of appeal –legal Adviser

Following the judgment of the Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) delivered by justice O.Y. Enuwe at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria on the 13th of October, 2020 in favor of the incumbent national president of RTEAN, Alhaji Musa Muhammed ,the legal adviser of the association, Barr. Sule Shuaibu has said that there was no notice of appeal filed by the acclaimed president, Mr. Eriyo Osakpamwam.
Shuaibu, who stated this while briefing the newsmen at the RTEAN national office in Abuja, saying that the acclaimed president was only begging the appeal court to allow him to appeal.
His words: “I want to say clearly to the whole world that we are not aware that an appeal has been entered. We are not aware that an appeal has been lodged. But saying the facts as they are, a motion or a notice for him to file an appeal has been entered by only one of them, the person of Mr. Eriyo Osakpamwam. That was only thing we are aware of”.
He disclosed that industrial court had allowed Mr. Eriyo Osakpamwam to be a member of RTEAN, saying that all his actions, acts and conduct by the judgment of the court had been declared as null and void.
