The paramount Chief of Yoruba community of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Oba (Dr) Olusegun Salau as well as the Otunba of Yoruba community in the FCT, Dr Wasiu Tunwase among other Yoruba leaders attended the 60 years birthday of Iyalode of Abuja (Women leader), Chief (Mrs) Oluwatoyin Badmus.
The birthday anniversary which took place at the Yar’Adua centre on Sunday received the attendance of Iyalode of Ghana and other important dignitaries.
The colorful occasion was witnessed by well-wishers of Iyalode of Abuja. The politicians as well as the Abuja market women graced the birthday anniversary.
Also, not left out, the former senator from Adamawa state and the former APC women leader in the FCT graced the occasion in a grand style.
In an interview with newsmen, the Otunba of Yoruba community in FCT described the Iyalode of Abuja as a philanthropist per excellence.
Otunba said he would continue to associate with the Iyalode of Abuja for her good work she was doing across the six area councils. On her part, Iyalode of Abuja thanked the people who attended her birthday celebration.
