Winner of the recently conducted by election in Nangere local government area of Yobe, Saidu Baba, has was yesterday sworn in as a member of the state Assembly.
Speaking during the occasion, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Honourable Adamu Dala Dogo, while congratulating the new member for his new appointment, urged him the use his position to justify the confidence reposed in him by members of his constituency, and his party.
He called on him to also cooperate with his colleagues in the House in order to move the state forward.
The lawmaker was immediately appointed the chairman of the Assembly’s committee on Women Affairs.
