In an effort to ensure hitch free Eid El-fitr celebration,the Adamawa state Police Command has deployed 1,207 personnel across the 21 Local Government Areas.
Commissioner of Police,Mr.Aliyu Adamu enjoined citizens to go about the celebration without any fear or apprehension, noting that measures to ensure the safety and security of the public have been enhanced strategically.
CP Adamu who dropped the assurance through a press statement issued by the spokesman of the command,DSP Suleiman Nguroje, stressed that frequent surveillance and visibility policing by police personnel would be conducted.
