The Southern Kaduna Youth and Student’s Forum (SKYSFORM) has expressed gratitude to the Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung for his “relentless efforts in alleviating the prevailing hardship” of students from the zone.
The group in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Comrade Rabiu Yau Garga, said the Senator’s annual scholarship grant to youths and students of Southern Kaduna deserves commendation.
According to the group, their findings revealed that the Senator has directly impacted the lives of over 400 students across different ethnic groups and religions in Southern Kaduna.
“The Senator’s educational scheme since its inception has inarguably directly impacted the lives of over 400 students of Southern Kaduna extraction across various institutions and LGAs, sometimes beyond the eight that make up Kaduna South Senatorial District”, said the group.
The group, however, warns mischief-makers and religious entrepreneurs from politicizing a well-intended scheme that aims at alleviating the suffering of youths and students from the Senatorial district.
