Sharks record 2-1 away win against Kaduna United

Visiting Sharks of Port Harcourt yesterday walloped struggling Kaduna United 2-1 at home in the Week 11 Nigeria Professional Football League, played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

Christain Pyagbara had a brace to put the visitors in a comfortable lead in the first half.

Pyagbara had scored in the 10th and 43rd minutes to give the visitors, who were seven on the chart before the match, a great leap forward.

Although the united players came out smoking in the second half, earning them a goal in the 48th minute through Samuel Agba, their effort was to no avail as the match ended with their first home loss of the season.

Disappointed soccer fans trooped out of the stadium in anger, calling on the management of Kaduna united to restrategise to avoid relegation.

One of the fans, Aliyu Ismail, alias Commander, said the united team needs serious reorganisation for it to make any impact this season.

He said the Kaduna State Government, owners of the club, should also fund the team adequately to enable it make an impact
