Stop propagating lies against Ikpeazu, group tells Otti

The Nigeria citizens watch for good governance have called on the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti to channel his energy into Governing his state, face the task ahead of him, rather than propagating lies and fake statements that cannot be verified.

This call was made by the Spoke Person of the Nigeria citizens watch for good governance, Maduka Samuel and made available to the media.

Mr Maduka explained that it became necessary for us to address the recent outbursts of the Governor targeting his predecessor Victor Ikpeazu PhD. A man who was elected twice by his people to serve them because of the great achievements he has brought on board, the Governor who transformed Abia State to what it is now.

We find it slanderous, an act of character assassination, and smear campaign against the former Governor, Victor Ikpeazu. It is absurd that a sitting Governor who has barely spent a year in office, with a lot of work to do is running around making speeches full of lies and giving fake statistics, at the detriment of the people he was elected to serve.

In light of his recent comments, we demand facts to verify his claims. We urge him to give name of the so called contractor, to publish reports, detailed and accurate reports of all the doings he claimed have happened.

He cannot, because these things never happened and he is lying about them, just as he lied about 247 light in Aba. He is a habitual lier, who suffers from mouth diarrhea and soon the truth will put him in his place.

it is clear that Governor Otti is not here to serve his people, but lie to them and feed them fake and unsubstantiated claims. This is very pathetic and heart breaking and indicates what a failure of a Governor he is going to be, should he continue on this path.

He is still suffering from anxiety and so has formed an imaginary court that exist only in his world, where he is both the prosecutor and the Judge, sentencing innocent and targeted individual based on lies and unverified facts.

Governance is a continuous process so we expect him to continue on the projects Ikpeazu has started, to consolidate and even initiate more projects for Abians to enjoy the dividend of democracy in Abia State. It will do you well to remember you have less than three years in office to do your best and show Abians that you deserve a second term or you will be evicted out of the Government House on 29th may 2027.

While we call on Abians to ignore the lies cooked and circulated by Governor Alex Otti, who is already intoxicated by power, we admonish him to wake from his slumber and face the reality, admit that politics is over, concentrate on governance, because Victor Ikpeazu has done his best for his people, learn from him and do yours.
