Taraba govt imposes curfew on Jalingo

The Taraba state Government has imposed dusk to dawn curfew in Jalingo, the state Capital from today, Monday 11th of March 2019 until further notice

A statement by Hassan Mijinyawa, Chief press Secretary to the governor, said the Curfew will run from 6pm to 6am daily. However, some INEC Officials, Key Agents of political parties and observers involved in collation of elections results are exempted.

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has enjoined the people of the state to continue to be law abiding as he urges security agencies to ensure strict compliance.
