Three feared killed, many others injured in rival cult clash

No fewer than three persons were said to have been feared killed in rival Cultclash during a birthday party Organized in Agbarho in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta state at the weekend.
Reports said that several others believed to be guests while the fracas lasted, were seriously injured as the clash unsettled the entire Agbarho Community including neighboring Communities,a situation where the two rival Cult groups allegedly engaged in fierce gun battle and sporadic shootings
The Police Commissioner in the state, Hafiz Muhammed Inuwah who Confirmed this to Journalists in Asaba on Sunday, said that investigation was ongoing, adding” I got the report that some people went to the bar and opened fire ,as a result one died in the bar while two others were taken to the hospital, one died on the way to the hospital and others died in the hospital, then two others sustained fatal injuries and were taken to the hospital, three actually died and we are hunting for the perpetrators, we want to know the motive and those perpetrators, and we are working hand in hand with some well meaning members of the Community to get more information”
But it was gathered that the incident happened at a popular drinking spot in Agbarho Community in a birthday bash organized by a young lady ( name withheld) while midway into the party, trouble started, leading to serious fight where the three persons were feared killed
Sources said that while the fight lasted, four armed men suspected to be cultists, stormed the event center and allegedly opened fire on the guests including the celebrant who sustained gunshots injuries the legs and was rushed to the hospital
Unconfirmed sources said that members of the Vikings were embarrassed to see rival Cult group members dancing with the Celebrant who is said to be girlfriend to one of them, a situation they engaged them in fight.
