President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi, have congratulated the new graduands of Federal University Dutse for the successful completion of their programs.
Tinubu who was represented by the Vice Chancellor Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU) Professor Kabiru Bala, congratulated the graduands and management of the University during the 6th and 7th combined convocation ceremony on Saturday at the University convocation square.
He said, the new graduands have a vital role to play in supporting federal government’s efforts towards addressing issues of unemployment, poverty, banditry and insecurities at large.
“I urged you to use the talent and skills acquired during your studying in the University as a student to support government’s of reducing poverty, unemployment through entrepreneur as well as reducing banditry and insecurities”, he said.
President Tinubu who assured more commitiment towards improvement of educational sector, also congratulated His majesty King W.S. Joshua, Igbugburu x, (CON) JP, the Ebenanawei of Bomo Kingdom and the pioneer chairman of Bayelsa state traditional council as 2nd Chancellor of the University.
Also speaking, the Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi, congratulated the Senate, parents and the graduands for achieving this milestone.
